Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
1. Introduction
LivUp is a corporate services company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through the LivUp website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
We process personal data in accordance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and other applicable UAE requirements.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number, and WhatsApp number.
- Background details you choose to share: nationality, country of residence, and your business intentions (for example the kind of company, visa, or bank account you are interested in).
- Conversation data: your messages with the AI assistant, including voice notes you record and their transcripts.
- Uploaded documents: files you choose to attach in the chat, which may include passports, Emirates IDs, licenses, and other identity documents. These are sensitive personal data and are handled as described in section 6.
- Booking details: the information you provide when booking a call with an advisor.
- Technical data: basic usage and device information needed to run the website securely, and a random identifier stored in your browser to keep your chat session working and to prevent abuse.
3. How we collect it
We collect personal data directly from you: when you chat with the AI assistant, record a voice note, upload a document, fill in a form, or book a call. We do not buy personal data about you from third parties.
4. Why we use it
We use your personal data to:
- respond to your questions and operate the AI assistant;
- understand your requirements and assess how we can help;
- contact you, including by email, phone, or WhatsApp, about your enquiry;
- book and prepare your call with a LivUp setup advisor;
- provide the corporate services you engage us for, including preparing government applications that require your identity documents;
- process payments for services you purchase;
- keep the website secure, prevent abuse, and enforce fair-use limits; and
- comply with legal and regulatory obligations that apply to us.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. The AI assistant
The AI assistant is powered by third-party large language model providers. When you send a message or a voice note, its content (and, for voice notes, the audio for transcription) is processed by such a provider on our behalf to generate a reply. We share only what is needed to produce the response, and our providers are engaged to process this data for us, not for their own purposes.
Conversations are logged so that, if you book a call, your advisor has the context and does not ask you to repeat yourself, and so we can review quality and safety.
6. Identity documents and other sensitive data
Passports, Emirates IDs, and similar identity documents receive heightened protection:
- They are stored in access-controlled storage and are never available at public links.
- They can be viewed only by authorised LivUp staff through an authenticated, access-checked channel, and every access is logged.
- They are used only to assess and deliver the services you have asked about, for example preparing a license or visa application.
- Uploads are restricted by file type and size, and files that fail these checks are deleted immediately.
Please upload identity documents only when they are yours or you are authorised to share them.
7. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run LivUp, and only to the extent needed:
- AI providers, to generate assistant replies and transcribe voice notes, as described in section 5.
- Resend, our email provider, to send emails to you.
- Mamo, our payment processor, to process payments when you purchase a service. Payment card details are handled by the processor, not stored by LivUp.
- Cal.com, our booking tool, to schedule your call with an advisor.
- Respond.io and WhatsApp, our messaging tools, to communicate with you where you have shared a WhatsApp number or contacted us there.
- Hosting and database infrastructure providers that store and serve the website and its data under contractual safeguards.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law, by a court, or by a competent authority, or to protect our legal rights.
Some of these providers process data outside the UAE. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the data receives an adequate level of protection consistent with the PDPL.
8. How we protect it
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encryption in transit, strict access controls scoped to authorised staff, logging of access to sensitive records, and rate limits and abuse controls on the public website. No system can be guaranteed absolutely secure, but we design for data protection as a structural requirement, not an afterthought.
9. How long we keep it
We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purposes described above: for the duration of your enquiry or engagement with us, and afterwards for as long as required to meet legal, regulatory, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data, where we have no overriding obligation to keep it;
- object to or ask us to restrict certain processing; and
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email hi@livup.ae from the address connected to your enquiry. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable period consistent with the PDPL.
11. Cookies and local storage
The website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use a small amount of local storage in your browser, including a random identifier that keeps your chat session working and helps prevent abuse of the public assistant, and a preference for light or dark mode. Signed-in staff sessions use authentication cookies.
12. Children
The website is intended for adults seeking corporate services. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
14. Contact
For any privacy question or request, contact hi@livup.ae. You can read the terms that govern the website in our Terms of Service.
